A laid-back in-person gathering for writers of all levels to write together, swap news and opportunities, and plan projects for the year ahead.
Plymouth Writers Network meets at Plymouth Central Library on Saturday 25 July, from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. It's a laid-back in-person gathering for writers of all levels, and it runs on the fourth Saturday of every month, so if you can't make this one, there are more dates coming up on 22 August, 26 September, 24 October and 28 November.
The session is built around writing together, swapping news and opportunities for writers in the city, and planning projects and events for the year ahead. It's a relaxed space, and the welcome extends to everyone from those crafting their first story, blog, poem or play to seasoned authors. If you're just starting out, it's a low-pressure way to get some words down and meet other people doing the same; if you've been at it for years, it's a good spot to keep in touch with the local scene.
The network runs the meet-up alongside Wonderzoo, with support from Plymouth Culture and the Plymouth Octopus Project. It's a community-led thing, so the focus is as much on the people as it is on the writing.

You'll find it in The Scott Room at Plymouth Central Library, on Amada Way (PL1 4LL). The session runs from 1:30pm to 3:30pm on Saturday 25 July, and since it's a monthly fixture, you can drop in whenever it suits you.
