KARST is hosting the first of two information sessions for Plymouth Art Weekender 2026 on Thursday 9 July. It's aimed at artists, venue hosts and volunteers, so if you're looking to get involved in the festival, this is where you start.
The Weekender is a city-wide celebration of Plymouth's creative community, and the scale of it is worth keeping in mind before you go. It brings together visual art, hands-on workshops and a range of events across the city, with more than 60 venues taking part. Artists activate spaces throughout Plymouth, turning galleries, streets and even unexpected locations into canvases for imagination. The events and activities are open to all ages and abilities, so it's not just for established names — it's built around the city's wider creative scene.
