The Bread and Roses on Ebrington Street has a New Material Comedy Night on Sunday 27 September, from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. It's a 'new act new material' night, which is a fair way of saying it's a room for two very different kinds of comedy. On one hand, you've got newcomers stepping up to the mic for the first time, and on the other, established acts road-testing new material before they take it on tour. It's the sort of night where you might see a debut set and a seasoned pro working through a rough draft in the same evening.
This particular edition is fronted by new hosts Cristina and Oli, who'll be steering the ship.
