LifeIn AI 2026

LifeIn AI 2026 takes over Devonport Market Hall on Wednesday 23 September, billed as the South West's biggest free AI event. It's a full day that brings together businesses, educators, students, innovators and the wider community to look at the technology shaping the future. The day mixes AI-powered robots and immersive demonstrations with expert speakers, hands-on workshops and thought-provoking discussions.

Two of the day's sessions are already on the timetable. At 12:00, there's a panel discussion titled Accelerating Growth: How AI and Technology are shaping the Future Economy, and at 14:30, an interactive AI For Everyone workshop. The rest of the day is built around the more hands-on side of things: AI robots to see in person, VR, dome shows, and a series of workshops and keynote talks running throughout.

Team Plymouth is an event partner on this one, and they describe themselves as an ambitious partnership of defence, industry, academia and local and national government championing innovation, skills and inclusive economic growth across the city and region. The event is supported by Babcock International Group, the University of Plymouth, City College Plymouth and Plymouth City Council.
