Gig For Good

Gig For Good returns to Stonehouse on Thursday 13 August, from 19:00 to 23:00. It's a community night where musicians and singers perform live to raise money and awareness for people with additional needs, so the music is the draw, but the cause is why it's on.

It sits within a wider Plymouth live music scene that's made the city one of the South West's best-recognised hubs for live performance. That scene is built on a steady stream of activity: top artists and huge hits regularly brought to the city, weekly gigs and concerts at venues across the area, and organised live music events showcasing local and not-so-local talent throughout the year. Gig For Good is one of those regular fixtures, bringing together a range of performers for a single night.

The venue is at 14-17 Manor Street, Stonehouse, Plymouth, PL1 1TL, just opposite the Palca Theatre in Union Street. If you're coming from the city centre, the 21 and 21A buses serve the area. Tickets are £6 pre-paid — you'll find the QR code on the posters — or £10 on the door, and the night runs from 19:00 to 23:00.
