Join Lush Plymouth for a fun workshop to make the brand's best-selling Intergalactic bath bomb, suitable for ages 5 and over.
Lush are hosting their Fireworks Championship at Drakes Circus on Wednesday 12 August, and the whole point is to make the brand's best-selling Intergalactic bath bomb. If you've ever bought one, you know the one: deep blue, packed with plastic-free glitter, fizz, popping candy and vibrant colours. This is your chance to put it together yourself rather than just picking it off the shelf.
It's a hands-on session, so you'll be getting stuck into the ingredients that make Intergalactic what it is. The popping candy is the bit that really sets it apart, and the plastic-free glitter means it's a bit kinder on the water than the old-school stuff. They describe it as a bath bomb to rival any celestial display, which is a fair way of putting it given the colours and the fizz. You'll walk away with your own finished bomb to take home, so it's a bit of a double win: you get to see how it's made and you get the actual thing to use later.
It's an all-ages affair, open to anyone aged five and over, so it works as a family thing on a weekday afternoon. Just keep in mind that under-18s need to be accompanied by an adult, which is standard for these kinds of workshops. If you're driving in, there's parking available at the venue, so you won't have to worry about hunting for a spot around the city centre.

The session runs from 16:00 to 18:00, and it costs £6.50. It's a couple of hours on a Wednesday afternoon, so it's an easy one to slot in if you're already around Drakes Circus.
