It's aimed at people who've already got the basics of crochet down and want to push on from there. The focus is on expanding your stitch repertoire, learning the magic ring, working with wire, and making small, detailed flowers. Louise guides you through the individual parts and the patterns, so you're not just winging it. There's a maximum of six people per workshop, which keeps it small enough that you can get a bit of one-on-one help while you work.
All the materials you'll need are included, and you'll leave with your finished wreath plus a box to keep it in. There are hot and cold drinks provided too. It's a paid workshop, so you'll need to book your place in advance.
On the age front, it's listed as young person friendly (12-18), so it's open to teenagers as well as adults. It's not set up for young children, though. If you're into crochet and fancy spending a couple of Sunday afternoons making something for the summer, the sessions are 14:00 to 16:30 on 5 and 26 July at 32 Devonport Road, Stoke.
