Coffee Rave

The Box is hosting a Coffee Rave on Tuesday 29 September, from 7am to 9am. It's part of the venue's birthday celebrations, and the whole thing is built around a simple swap: coffee instead of cocktails, and a morning start instead of a late-night finish. DJ Mike is on the decks spinning house and garage, so you've got the dancefloor side of things sorted, with mocktails on the go and a birthday draw running alongside. It's a two-hour window to get your dance on before the rest of the city has even had breakfast.

The Box describes it as one of the world's most popular new event trends — a morning alternative to the late-night party, with feel-good music and good company, and coffee in place of cocktails. The Box is Art Fund's Museum of the Year, so this is a morning dance in the same building that's just been named one of the best museums in the country. The rave itself takes place in The Box Kitchen & Bar, within the main venue, which puts it right in the heart of the building.
