Live music series featuring local musicians performing at The Barcode within Drake Circus Shopping Centre.
Barcode Live is bringing live music to The Barcode at Drake Circus throughout July and August, with a different local musician taking the stage each Thursday afternoon. The performances happen at the top of the Hollywood Steps, so it's more of a drop-in thing than a seated gig — you can stop for a bit while you're shopping or just head in for the music.
The line-up is spread across five Thursdays, with Lizzie Cornish kicking things off on 23 July. Joanna Cooke follows on 30 July, and Amber Jade Smith takes over on 6 August. Rue plays on 20 August, and The Curve close out the series on 27 August. Each one is a separate afternoon, so you can pick the dates that work for you rather than committing to the whole run.
It's a local showcase, with a different name on the bill every week, and the whole thing is free. The sets run from 4pm to 5pm, which puts them right in the middle of the afternoon — early enough to catch on your way home from work or during a break, and well before the evening rush. If you're around the city centre on a Thursday, it's an easy one to swing by.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Plymouth and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
