Full-day seminar on agentic AI for enterprise leaders, researchers and practitioners, hosted by the University of Pittsburgh's HAIL.
The Agentic Road Show comes to the O'Hara Student Center on Thursday, October 22, for a full day on agentic AI. It's the first stop of a new national seminar series, hosted here in partnership with the University of Pittsburgh's Hub for AI and Data Science Leadership (HAIL). The day is built around a single question: what happens when AI systems move from answering questions to making decisions and taking action? That shift—from a tool that tells you things to one that actually does things—is what the whole day is about.
The schedule is a mix of formats rather than just a string of talks. There are keynotes, research presentations, innovation sprints, panels, enterprise case studies, and structured networking, and the whole thing closes with a reception at The Porch at Schenley. The lineup brings together a few different worlds: Philip Koopman, Professor Emeritus at Carnegie Mellon, presents Edge Cases for Safety; Eric Kavanagh of The Bloor Group gives Generation Skeptical; Andy Hannah of Blue Street Data presents Venom in the Pipeline; and Dr. Hooman Rashidi talks AI in Medicine: From Research to Reality. Dr. Mark Brady, former Chief Data Officer of the U.S. Space Force, brings 6 Laws for Safe AI. Joining them are Shane O'Toole of Amazon, David Linthicum, Lou Simon of Uptima, and Morgan Templar of FirstCDO.

The venue is the O'Hara Student Center, a three-story Romanesque Revival building that opened in 1913 as the Concordia Club, one of the city's leading Jewish social clubs. The university bought it in 2009 and reopened it as a student center in 2011; these days it houses the Math Assistance and Writing Centres. The day runs from 8 AM to 5 PM in the Ballroom at 3900 O'Hara Street, and morning, afternoon, and full-day passes are available at agenticroadshow.com/store. Chicago, Austin, Boston, and San Francisco are listed as coming soon, so Pittsburgh is the first to host it.
