Stand-up show by Taylor Tomlinson, her new hour-long show 'Nobody Asked You To Do That', at the Benedum Center.
Taylor Tomlinson brings her new stand-up show, Nobody Asked You To Do That, to the Benedum Center on Friday, May 14, 2027. It's a full hour of new material, and it's coming to Pittsburgh as part of her first leg of the tour.
If you've followed her, you know where she's coming from. She started doing stand-up at sixteen in church basements, worked her way onto Conan and The Tonight Show, and put out four Netflix specials before she hit thirty-two. In 2023, she headlined the seventh-highest-grossing comedy tour in the worldβthe only woman in the global top ten. She also hosted CBS's After Midnight, making her the youngest network late-night host by about two decades and the only woman to host a network late-night show at the time. She's a Forbes 30 Under 30 and a TIME100 Next, and she grew up in a conservative home, citing Maria Bamford and Brian Regan as inspirations.
This hour leans into personal territory with the same cutting self-awareness she's known for. She spends the set dissecting family dynamics, mental health, sexuality, and the kind of awkward realities that usually stay inside. It's a brand-new show, and it comes alongside her debut book, Actually, Nevermind, published by Gallery Books.
