Sammy Rae & The Friends bring their tour to Stage AE on Wednesday, October 28, with Melt opening the night. The show is presented by 91.3 WYEP, PromoWest North Shore, and Opus One.
Sammy Rae & The Friends are an alternative/indie act out of New York City. They've built their name on a sound that blends indie sensibilities with a full-band energy, and this stop in Pittsburgh is part of their wider touring schedule. Melt takes the opening slot, so there are two acts on the bill rather than just one.

It's an indoor show, and the night is open to all ages, so you can bring whoever you want. Doors open at 7 PM, which gives you plenty of time to get in and settled before the music starts. If you're planning to catch both acts, arriving closer to that time is your best bet. If you only have eyes for the headliner, you've got some breathing room.
