Free interactive coffeehouse workshop and open house for wholesale partners, aspiring coffee shop owners and coffee enthusiasts, part of Pittsburgh Coffee Week.
Commonplace Coffee is hosting Open, Manage, Grow, a coffeehouse workshop, on Saturday, October 24, at their Headquarters & Roastery in Pittsburgh. It's an interactive summit and open house that runs from 1 PM to 8 PM, and it's part of Pittsburgh Coffee Week.
Commonplace is a roaster and brewer with locations in Pittsburgh and Indiana, PA, and they also sell wholesale coffee equipment and offer consultation services. The workshop is aimed at wholesale partners, aspiring coffee shop owners, and coffee enthusiasts, so it's as much for people who already work in the industry as it is for anyone who's ever thought about opening their own spot. The open house format means you can hang out and see the roastery in action while you're there.
If you're into the coffee side of things, there are two blends to keep on your radar. The Full Potential Blend was developed by the roastery staff and led by Shadyside manager Erin Bertuzzi; it features a cinnamon co-ferment and supports Café Momentum Pittsburgh. Then there's the 2026-2027 Tanger Blend, created with Pittsburgh hockey icon Kris Letang, which benefits Beneficio, a nonprofit founded by members of Osito Coffee.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Pittsburgh and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
