Free monthly boardgame night with a library of titles from casual to hardcore strategy, held every second and fourth Wednesday of the month.
Novo Asian Food Hall is hosting a board game night on Wednesday, October 21, from 6:00 to 9:30 PM, and it's not a one-off. The night runs every second and fourth Wednesday of the month, so if you miss this one, there's another coming shortly after.
The evening is run in partnership with Bugbear Boardgames, who bring a full library of titles to the hall. The range is wide enough to cover a few different kinds of nights: there are casual, easy-to-learn games you can pick up in five minutes, and hardcore strategy titles for when you're in the mood to really settle in. You don't need to bring your own games or have a group already lined upβthe library is there for you to choose from once you arrive.
Because it's at a food hall, it's easy to work around dinner. You can grab a meal and a drink and keep the games going through the evening, or just drop in for a few rounds between 6:00 and 9:30. Since it's a recurring thing, it's a good one to keep in the back of your mind for a mid-week night out that doesn't cost anything to join.
