Toronto post-punk and gothic duo Modele play Spirit Lodge with support from Hemlock for Socrates and Nowhere Wolves in a 21+ show.
Modele play Spirit on Sunday, October 25, with Hemlock for Socrates and Nowhere Wolves opening. Modele is the Toronto duo of Chris Huggett and Nathan Wiltshire, who combine deep baritone vocals, atmospheric guitars, driving rhythms, and cinematic textures into a fusion of post-punk and gothic sounds. They're signed to Germany's Young and Cold Records and have put out two albums in two years: their debut, Pleasure for the Holy, in 2025, and their sophomore, Divine Surrender, in 2026.
Hemlock for Socrates is a Pittsburgh-based electronic art-rock partnership of Heather Shore and Kegan Heiss. They describe their music as exploring personal introspection and social commentary through surreal, science-fiction-inflected language. Nowhere Wolves bring a different energy to the bill, blending the sleaze of 70s glam rock with the gothic beauty of Scott Walker and Soft Cell, all driven by electric violin, crooning vocals, and sharp musicianship.
