Evening for undergraduate students to meet NPC, cultural Greek and NPHC sororities at the University of Pittsburgh and learn about their values, leadership and philanthropy.
Meet the Sororities is happening at the William Pitt Union on Wednesday, October 21, from 9:00 PM to 10:45 PM. It's an evening for undergraduate students to connect with members of the University of Pittsburgh's NPC sororities, cultural Greek organizations, and NPHC sororities, all in one room. If you've been thinking about Greek life but aren't sure where you'd fit in, this is the place to start.
The whole point is to get a feel for what each organization is about. You'll be able to talk to members and find out about their values, the leadership opportunities they offer, the philanthropy they support, and the sisterhood they build. It's a way to compare a few different groups side-by-side and see which one aligns with what you're looking for, rather than trying to figure it out one by one.
Beyond the individual sororities, the night is also about getting a sense of the wider Fraternity and Sorority Life community at Pitt. It's a good way to see how the different councils—NPC, NPHC, and the cultural Greek organizations—fit together on campus. The session is open to undergraduate students, so if you're a student here and curious about joining a sorority, this is your best bet for a first look.
