Stand-up show by comedian Julian McCullough, fundraiser for the Family Hospice Foundation, at Carnegie Lecture Hall.
Julian McCullough is performing at Carnegie Lecture Hall on Thursday, October 22, with the show running from 7 PM to 8 PM. Doors open an hour early at 6 PM, so you've got plenty of time to find your seat before he takes the stage. The venue is part of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh - Main in Oakland, at 4400 Forbes Avenue.
McCullough is a stand-up comic who's been working in the big rooms lately. He's the host for Nate Bargatze's Big Dumb Eyes world tour, which is billed as the biggest comedy tour in America, and he appears every week on the new game show Greatest Average American on ABC and Hulu. He's also been on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon several times, so he's used to the late-night spotlight.
There's a bit more to this one than just a comedy set, though. The show is presented by the Family Hospice Foundation as a fundraiser, and all proceeds go toward the programs and services they provide at no cost to patients and their families. If you've been looking for a reason to catch a show, knowing the ticket price supports that kind of work makes it a pretty easy call.

Tickets are $35 for the balcony and $50 for the orchestra, and since it's a fundraiser, the money goes straight to the foundation. The show is an hour long, 7 PM to 8 PM, with doors opening at 6 PM at Carnegie Lecture Hall in Oakland.
