Hayden Johnson

Hayden Johnson plays Bottlerocket Social Hall on Wednesday, October 21, her first time on the Bottlerocket stage. She's a trans queer comedian and writer based in Los Angeles, and she describes her act as built around a self-deprecating dry wit and an unapologetically queer perspective.

Johnson has spent the last few years working her way through the festival circuit. She's performed at Moontower and Sketchfest, and in 2025, Just for Laughs named her one of their New Faces of Comedy. Her work has appeared in Vogue and Funny or Die.

Bottlerocket's connection to her started with Caleb Hearon's podcast So True, where they first came across her. From there, they caught her set at Treefort Fest in Boise, and this show is the first time she'll be playing for them here in Pittsburgh. She bills it as her Bottlerocket debut.

The show is all ages. It's theater seating, assigned when you arrive, though you can pick your own seat for an additional fee. There's also a pre-show clip collection that starts an hour before the performance. Doors open at 5 PM, and the show starts at 8 PM at Bottlerocket Social Hall, 1226 Arlington Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15210.
