A holiday market featuring fresh greens, garlands, poinsettias, and custom wreath design at Phipps Garden Center.
The Gifts and Greens Market returns to the Phipps Garden Center in Mellon Park from Thursday, December 3, through Saturday, December 5. It's a holiday shopping tradition for the garden center, and this year it's open three days in a row.
The market centers on fresh greens—wreaths and garlands—alongside a large assortment of poinsettias, including varieties you'll see in Phipps Holiday Magic. If you're not sure what you want, there's a custom wreath design service: one of the garden center's Master Gardeners will put one together for you. Beyond the greens, you can browse the seasonal botanical selection and handmade holiday decor.
If you'd rather have your order ready and waiting, you can pre-order wreaths, garlands, loose greens, and decorative accents. Those pre-orders close on Thursday, October 15, and you pick them up at the Garden Center during any of the three market days. The Garden Center itself is part of the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, which Henry Phipps gifted to the City of Pittsburgh in 1893.
