Adult-only Saturday-night dinner cruise on the Gateway Clipper with a chef-prepared buffet, DJ entertainment and a full-service bar.
Gateway Clipper is sailing the Captain's Dinner Dance Cruise this Saturday, October 24, out of the Station Square Dock. It's their flagship Saturday night experience, and if you've never been, it's a straightforward evening: a chef-prepared buffet dinner, coffee and hot tea, a full-service bar for whatever you're drinking, a DJ, and assigned seating. The whole thing is adult-themed and recommended for guests 18 and older, with a dressy casual dress code. There's also a Happy Hour cocktail pricing period, so you can get your drinks in early.
Gateway Clipper has been sailing Pittsburgh's three rivers since 1958 and has carried more than 25 million passengers. They describe this as one of three classic dinner cruises they run—alongside the Skyline Dinner and the Barbecue Lock & Dam—and they say all three carry on that same tradition of hospitality. If you're a veteran or active military, you ride for free, and there's a free ticket offered on any Three Rivers Sightseeing cruise as well. On board it's cashless, so you'll want to use a card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.

Logistically, the boat boards at 5:45 PM and sails from 6:30 to 9:00 PM, which gives you plenty of time to eat and dance without it running too late into the night. Tickets are $88.35 per adult, all-in, and you'll set off from the Station Square Dock at 350 W. Station Square Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
