Candlebox play the Roxian Theatre in Pittsburgh with support from Sponge on their 'Can't Quit You' tour.
Candlebox play the Roxian Theatre on Thursday, October 22, with Sponge opening. The show is part of their 32-date North American tour, which they've titled Can't Quit You.
Candlebox came out of Seattle's early-1990s rock scene, led by founder Kevin Martin. Their self-titled 1993 debut went quadruple platinum, selling more than 4 million copies worldwide. That record earned them a main-stage slot at Woodstock '94 and tours with Metallica, Rush, and Aerosmith. After a hiatus from 2000 to 2006, they returned with a string of records, including Into the Sun, Love Stories & Other Musings, Disappearing in Airports, and Wolves. Along the way, guitarist Peter Klett rejoined the band after ten years away.
The tour title comes from Martin himself, who says Can't Quit You speaks to how important their fans are to the music they create. It's a long run—32 dates across North America—and the Roxian is one of them.
