Grammy-nominated hard rock vocalist Lacey Sturm, former frontwoman of Flyleaf, plays an acoustic evening with special guest Lydia Saint George.
Lacey Sturm plays City Winery Pittsburgh on Sunday, October 18, for an acoustic evening that strips back the hard rock she's known for. She'll be joined on stage by her guitarist and husband, Josh Sturm, with special guest Lydia Saint George opening the night. The show runs about 90 minutes.
If you know Sturm from her time fronting Flyleaf, you know her as a Grammy-nominated vocalist who led the band through its platinum years. Since then, she's carved out a solo career, with her debut topping the Billboard Hard Rock Albums chart. This set takes those hard rock songs and slows them down, reworking them unplugged. She'll be playing Flyleaf tracks like "All Around Me," "I'm So Sick," and "State of Me" alongside her newer solo material.
City Winery Pittsburgh is tucked into the historic Strip District Terminal in the heart of the Strip District. It's an intimate, seated room where dinner and award-winning wines are served at the table throughout the performance. The stage has hosted legendary rock acts and cult favorites alike, and the venue also books comedy, jazz, podcast recordings, and brunch performances.
