Documentary journey across iconic American environments, shown in 3D and 2D at the Rangos Giant Cinema.
America the Beautiful opens at Rangos Giant Cinema on Wednesday, Nov. 11, and runs through Wednesday, Nov. 25. It's a documentary that takes you across some of the most iconic environments in the country, and it's shown in both 3D and 2D, so you can pick the version that works for you.
The venue is the Rangos Giant Cinema inside the Kamin Science Center at 1 Allegheny Ave in Pittsburgh. It's built around a 71-by-39-foot Certified Giant Screen, fed by two Christie laser-illuminated 4K projectors and a Dolby Atmos surround sound system powered by 49 speakers. The people who run it describe it as the most technologically advanced movie experience in the city, and they invite you to feel as if you've visited the 'Mother of All Theaters.'

Rangos runs daily and programs everything from Hollywood features and classic films to educational and 3D experiences. Because it's a separate theater from the rest of the science center, a separate ticket is required for all screenings. America the Beautiful will be playing there for two weeks, from Nov. 11 through Nov. 25.
