Underoath plays a full run of 'Define the Great Line' for its 20th anniversary, with August Burns Red, Atreyu and As Cities Burn.
Underoath are playing the Arizona Financial Theatre on Monday, November 9, as part of their Define the Great Line 20th Anniversary Tour. The whole night is built around a full playthrough of Define the Great Line, the record that turns twenty this year and has shaped the band's trajectory and its following. If you've spent any time with that album, you know it's the one that defined their sound and put them on the map, and they're playing it from start to finish.
They aren't coming alone. August Burns Red, Atreyu, and As Cities Burn are all on the bill, rounding out a lineup of bands from the same era of the scene. It's a full night of music from that particular stretch of the mid-2000s, with Underoath taking the headlining slot. The supporting acts are all from the same time and place, so the whole bill fits together rather than feeling like a random collection of openers.
