New York indie disco outfit Supertaste headlines its first U.S. tour, the Jubilance Tour, with support from 3Kelves at Valley Bar.
Supertaste play Valley Bar on Wednesday, November 4, as part of their first-ever U.S. tour. They're a New York-based indie disco outfit, and the set is built around their second album, Jubilance, which comes out on December 11. Opening the night is 3Kelves.
If you're not familiar with them, Supertaste works from a four-on-the-floor pulse and maximalist grooves, sitting somewhere between classic disco, indie dance and contemporary funk. They describe Jubilance as an act of resistance dressed up as a party. Their debut hinted at an appetite for big grooves, but this record leans all the way in, aimed at the festival stage and the streaming playlist. It comes with a new single, "Cinephile."
They've landed spots on major festival lineups including Hulaween, Austin City Limits and Electric Forest, and this fall they're headlining their first U.S. tour. They've also signed to Nettwerk and CAA. The show at Valley Bar is one of the stops on that run, and since Jubilance doesn't drop until December 11, you'll be hearing the new material before it's officially out.
