Storm Large - Holiday Ordeal

Storm Large brings her holiday show, Holiday Ordeal, to the Musical Instrument Museum on Tuesday, December 8, 2026. It's a holiday concert, so it'll fit right into the December calendar if you're looking for something to do around the holidays.

The show takes place in the MIM Music Theater, which is an intimate 300-seat room. That's small enough that you're not separated from the stage by a sea of people, and it's the same theater the museum uses for its whole concert series. The MIM brings in artists, musicians, and singer-songwriters from all over the world, and the bookings run across jazz, blues, folk, Americana, worldbeat, and rock 'n' roll. This particular show is part of their fall 2026 lineup, which includes more than 100 gigs running from September through early March.

Storm Large is the main feature here, and Holiday Ordeal is the program. If you've followed her work, you know she doesn't exactly do the standard, polite version of a holiday show, so the title gives you a fair idea of what to expect. It's a holiday concert, but it's her take on it.

The show starts at 7 PM on Tuesday, December 8, at the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix.
