Wine dinner with pairings curated by Chef Michael Rusconi at Rusconi's American Kitchen.
Rusconi's American Kitchen is hosting another wine dinner on Monday, October 26, as part of its 2026 Wine Dinner Series. The evening is built around pairings curated by Chef Michael Rusconi himself, and it runs through five courses, each with its own wine pairing.
The meal opens with citrus-marinated crab paired with a Willamette Valley Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc. From there, it moves to slow-roasted pork belly and pear agrodolce with a Lyric Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara, followed by Maple Leaf Farms natural breast of duck paired with an Alexander Valley Vineyards Homestead Red Blend. The heavier side comes with wood-grilled loin of lamb and a Goldschmidt Katherine from Sonoma, and the night closes on a sweet note: blueberry panna cotta paired with a Cline Mourvedre Rose from Contra Costa County.
It's a broad reach across the West Coast—Oregon, California, and back to California—so you'll get a good look at how different regions play against the menu. The dinner is part of the restaurant's ongoing 2026 series, and since Rusconi is the one handling the pairings, the wine is chosen to fit the food rather than the other way around.
