RayBurger first made a name for himself during the 2020 stay-at-home order with Kumbia Bang, released on Yellow Claw's Barong Family, and La Hamburguesa, on Group Chat Recordings. He hit the road in May 2021, headlining in cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, and Chicago, and opening for Deorro and Valentino Khan. In January 2022, his remix of Sabor Kolombia's Bota y Tambo trended on TikTok and has since passed a million plays. He followed that with the merengue-club single MELON in 2024 and Club Hamburguesa Vol. 3, his third EP on Group Chat Recordings, which he played at BottleRock Napa and Carne Asada Fest.
