Monthly vintage market on the Arizona Center plaza with around 30 local vendors of retro fashion, crafts and art.
Pickers Playground is back at the Arizona Center on Sunday, Oct 18, from 12 PM to 6 PM. It's their signature 3rd Sunday Retro Market, and if you've never been, it's an open-air vintage market on the back plaza turf of the Arizona Center. Around 30 local vendors set up, selling retro fashion, craft, art, and more. It's free admission, so you can just wander through and see what catches your eye.
Pickers Playground is Arizona's original monthly vintage clothing market, and this Sunday afternoon slot is its main fixture. The mix of vendors means you'll find a fair bit of variety in one spot—retro clothes, handmade crafts, and local art—all out on the plaza rather than tucked inside a building. It's a good way to spend a Sunday afternoon downtown without having to commit to a whole day of shopping.
The organizers run a few other things, too. There's a retro night market that recently celebrated its sixth anniversary, and a trading card and collectibles show called SQUIRREL CON, where vendors from across the valley bring Pokemon, sports cards, other TCG, rare figures, and toys. If you're into those, it's worth keeping an eye on their full schedule.
