Televised car wash with corporate and community volunteers washing hundreds of cars over two days to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona.
Paul's Car Wash returns to Desert Ridge Marketplace on Thursday, October 22 and Friday, October 23, from 8 AM to 6 PM both days. It's hosted by Paul Horton, Arizona's Family Weather Anchor and Community Ambassador, and it's a televised car wash celebration that benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona.
Now in its 19th year, the event has become a local tradition that mixes live television, entertainment, and celebrity appearances with actual volunteer work. Over the two days, corporate and community volunteers gather to wash hundreds of cars, and the proceeds go toward Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona's one-to-one mentoring programs. Those programs pair adult volunteers, the 'Bigs,' with youth, the 'Littles,' who are between six and 18 years old.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona has been operating for more than 70 years as part of the nation's largest donor- and volunteer-supported mentoring network, and it serves more than 1,500 Arizona children each year. If you can't make it to the marketplace in person, you can still contribute: text WASH to 26989 to donate to the car wash.
