MCSO MASH Unit 2026 Animal Parade

The MCSO MASH Unit is hosting its Animal Parade on Wednesday, Oct 28, at 120 W Madison St in downtown Phoenix. It's a morning event that starts at 9 AM, and the whole thing is free.

The parade brings together adoptable dogs and cats from the MCSO Animal Safe Haven Unit, and the animals show up in costume. It's billed as fun for the whole family, and the organizers encourage visitors to come dressed up themselves, too. The main point of the morning is to get these pets in front of people and give them a chance to meet potential new owners.

If you've been looking for a dog or a cat, this is a low-pressure way to see what's available. Instead of scrolling through photos on a screen, you can meet the animals in person and get a feel for their personalities. Since they're all in costume, it's a bit more lighthearted than a typical shelter visit, and the morning is set up for families to bring the kids along.

It all happens at the MCSO MASH Unit, 120 W Madison St, Phoenix, AZ 85003, starting at 9 AM on Wednesday, Oct 28. Entry is free.
