Concert by New York-based singer and songwriter Margaret Glaspy presenting her album 'I Am Both' at the Musical Instrument Museum.
Margaret Glaspy plays the Musical Instrument Museum on Wednesday, November 18, 2026, at 7 PM. The New York singer and songwriter is touring her latest album, I Am Both, and the show is part of the MIM Concert Series.
I Am Both is an eleven-track record that Glaspy tracked live in three days at NYC's Reservoir Studios. It was produced by Joe Henry, and the sessions featured Jay Bellerose, Patrick Warren, and Ross Gallagher. Hearing it live puts those studio recordings in a different light, and the set is built around the new material.
The show takes place in the MIM Music Theater, which seats 299. It's inside the Musical Instrument Museum, the world's largest music museum—a 200,000-square-foot facility that opened in April 2010 and holds more than 15,000 instruments from nearly 200 countries. The theater is just one part of the larger museum, so if you arrive early, you can walk through the galleries before the music starts.
