Concert by the renowned Canadian classical violinist Lucia Micarelli at the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix.
Lucia Micarelli plays the Musical Instrument Museum on Tuesday, November 17, 2026, at 7:30 PM. It's a live violin performance, and she's the sole bill for the night.
If you're not familiar with her, Micarelli is a violinist who works across a few different worlds. Her recent appearances show that range: she played as a special guest with Josh Groban in The Woodlands, Texas, and Kansas City, Missouri, and performed a Brahms Double Concerto with the Evansville Philharmonic at the Victory Theater in Indiana. That's a wide gap between a pop-crossover guest spot and a Brahms concerto with a philharmonic, and it gives you a sense of where she sits—comfortable in a concert hall and just as at home on a larger stage.

The venue is the Musical Instrument Museum, or MIM, at 4725 E Mayo Blvd. It's the world's largest music museum, a 200,000-square-foot facility that opened in April 2010 and houses more than 15,000 instruments from nearly 200 countries. The concert theater inside seats 299 and regularly hosts live performances by artists from around the world, so this is one of its usual nights. The show starts at 7:30 PM on Tuesday, November 17.
