Tribute to Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young headlining the Live from Laurel Canyon series at the Musical Instrument Museum.
CSNY is coming to the Musical Instrument Museum on Saturday, December 26, as part of the Live from Laurel Canyon series. The show is a tribute to Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, the folk-rock supergroup that defined the sound of the late sixties and early seventies. If you've spent any time with their records, you know the draw: those four-part harmonies that became a benchmark for everything that followed in the genre.
Live from Laurel Canyon is a series that looks back at the music coming out of the canyon community in Los Angeles, and CSNY sits right at the center of that. The name itself points to the neighborhood where the whole scene took root. The tribute will run through the songs they recorded together, the kind of material that built their reputation for vocal blending and acoustic-driven songwriting.

The show takes place in the MIM Music Theater, and the music starts at 8 PM. Since it's the day after Christmas, it's a good one to keep on the calendar for the holiday break.
