Jeff Goldblum and the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra perform their jazz arrangements of classic standards on their 'The Night Blooms' World Tour.
Jeff Goldblum and the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra play the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix on Saturday, October 17, and Sunday, October 18, with shows at 6 PM and 8 PM both nights. They're on their The Night Blooms world tour, bringing their jazz arrangements of classic standards to the MIM.
Goldblum's career now spans six decades of award-winning work as a film, television, and stage actor, but he's been leading this orchestra for thirty years. The group plays contemporary arrangements of classic jazz and Great American Songbook standards, and they've put out four albums on Decca Records. Those records feature guest artists like Gregory Porter, Kelly Clarkson, Miley Cyrus, Fiona Apple, and Freda Payne. Their fourth album, Still Blooming, debuted at number one on the UK's Official Jazz & Blues Albums Chart and number 10 on the UK's Official Albums Chart in 2025. Its companion, Night Blooms, came out June 5 under Universal's relaunched Fontana label, with guests including Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Charlie Puth, dodie, Scarlett Johansson, and Melody Gardot.
Beyond the music, Goldblum has a few other credits under his belt: an Oscar nomination for directing the short film Little Surprises and an Emmy nomination for The World According to Jeff Goldblum, which he executive produced.
