Brighton singer-songwriter James Marriott plays Crescent Ballroom with his 2027 tour, headlining with his album 'Warning Signs'.
James Marriott plays the Crescent Ballroom on Thursday, March 4, 2027, bringing his new album Warning Signs to Phoenix. He's a Brighton-based singer-songwriter who first built his audience through pop-culture commentary and challenge videos on YouTube before turning to music. This is his third record, following the 2025 UK Number 1 Don't Tell The Dog and his 2023 debut Are We There Yet?.
Warning Signs is an 11-track collection written and recorded at Daft Studios in the Belgian Ardennes. Marriott describes it as "anti-pop" and "moment-based," and it charts the anticipation and rush of new desires alongside the aftermath of a relationship ending. The imagery draws on the hazard-style weather symbols from the music video for his 2026 UK Top 40 single "California Rain," and the lead single, "Burn Down The Disco," was named a BBC Radio 1 Track of the Week.
He's played Reading & Leeds, Latitude, Lollapalooza, and Electric Picnic, and his headline shows have grown from his debut hometown date at Brighton's The Electric in October 2022 to sold-out nights at London's Roundhouse and O2 Academy Brixton. The set will be built around the new material from Warning Signs.
