Ukulele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro brings his festive Holidays in Hawaii concert to the Musical Instrument Museum.
Jake Shimabukuro brings his Holidays in Hawaii concert to the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix on Saturday, Dec. 11 and Sunday, Dec. 12, 2026. He's a ukulele virtuoso, and the two-night run is part of his holiday touring schedule.
It's a small room. The MIM hosts its concerts in an intimate 300-seat theater, and that's the kind of space that works for a solo performer. The museum draws artists from all over the world across jazz, blues, folk, Americana, worldbeat and rock 'n' roll, so Shimabukuro fits right into the mix they've been building. The Holidays in Hawaii program is his festive set, and with two dates on the table, you've got a choice between the Saturday and Sunday shows.

To give you a sense of the scale, this is part of a much larger run. The MIM's fall 2026 concert lineup stretches from September through early March and totals more than 100 gigs, so Shimabukuro is one of many acts passing through the theater over the course of the season. If you're a fan of the ukulele, these are the two nights he'll be in town. The shows are Saturday, Dec. 11 and Sunday, Dec. 12, at the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix.
