Multi-stage, circus-themed Halloween night with live music, vinyl sets, a costume contest, aerial artists and carnival games, strictly 21+.
Flipside Funhouse takes over Walter Studios on Friday, October 30, from 8 PM to 2 AM. It's a multi-stage, circus-themed Halloween party put on by Flipside Flea and Walter Productions, with @ronnietakeover directing the whole thing. The night is built around two separate music setups running at once, so you can drift between them rather than sticking to one stage.
The main lineup features ufo, midnight club, sueño, jonny piyamas, and sativan. Running alongside them is The Trip Hazards Acid Funhouse, which sticks to vinyl sets from djents, patch the dots, dj t. diani, and trip hazard ash. Between the two, you've got a full night of music to pull from, and since they're running in parallel, you can switch back and forth depending on what's hitting.
Beyond the music, the floor is packed with a fair amount of stuff to do. There's a costume contest with a cash prize, aerial artists performing, and carnival games. You'll also find a photo booth, a House of Haunted Mirrors, and free popcorn and cotton candy. For something a bit more hands-on, valence heartlock is running an interactive workshop, and @alextavee is doing special FX makeup. If you're into it, @gnostika will be there giving tarot card readings.
