Concert by the Los Angeles post-punk trio Failure, with support act QUANNNIC, at The Crescent Ballroom.
Failure play The Crescent Ballroom on Wednesday, October 28, with QUANNNIC opening. It's a Live Nation show, and the set will draw from their latest record, Location Lost.
Failure is a Los Angeles trio of Ken Andrews, Greg Edwards, and Kelli Scott. They've spent their career working with weight, density, and mass, though they write about what happens when those things fall away. The band reunited in 2014 after a 17-year hiatus, and Location Lost is their seventh album overall and fourth since coming back. It's a nine-song follow-up to 2021's Wild Type Droid, and it's already given up a few singles: "The Rising Skyline," which features Hayley Williams, "A Way Down," and "The Air's on Fire."
If you're coming for the new stuff, you'll find it here, but there's plenty of the older catalog to pull from, too. They've put out seven albums in total, and the reunion has seen them keep a steady pace with four of those coming since 2014. QUANNNIC opens the night, so you'll get two bands on the bill.
