Emma Ruth Rundle performs her new album 'These Killing Times' with a full band, alongside special guest Cinder Well, at the Crescent Ballroom.
Emma Ruth Rundle plays the Crescent Ballroom on Sunday, November 29, with Cinder Well opening. She's touring her new album, These Killing Times, which came out September 18. For this run, she's performing with a full band, and Cinder Well will play music from her own catalog.
These Killing Times is the latest addition to a discography that's hard to pin to one sound. Over the years, Rundle has put out solo records, worked in bands, and recorded soundtracks, and she's collaborated across a wide range of projects. This one was recorded by Sonny Diperri, who has worked with My Bloody Valentine, Trent Reznor, and These New Puritans, and with whom she's collaborated over the last decade. Originally from Portland, Oregon, she's taking the new material on the road with a full band behind her.
There's more to her work than the music, too. Rundle is an established visual artist, and in 2025 she released her first book of poetry, The Bella Vista, through Unnamed Press. That side of her practice runs alongside the records, and the two have always felt connected.
