Jazz concert celebrating women in jazz headlined by Debbi Ebert at the Rhythm Room.
Debbi Ebert headlines Divalicious! A Celebration of Women in Jazz at Rhythm Room this Sunday, October 25. The show is built around the women of jazz, and Ebert takes the lead for this afternoon's set.
If you're not already familiar with her, Ebert is a jazz vocalist who has spent years working across the scene, and this particular show puts her front and center. The Divalicious! title tells you the whole idea: it's a celebration of women in jazz, so the afternoon is dedicated to the singers and musicians who have shaped the genre. Ebert is the main feature of the day, and the set is built around her voice.
It's a Sunday afternoon show, which is a nice change of pace from the usual late-night jazz sets. The music starts at 3 PM, so you can catch it and still have your whole evening ahead of you. Tickets are $23.71, and the show is at Rhythm Room, one of the city's go-to spots for live jazz.
