A two-day culinary festival celebrating Arizona's food culture with tastings, local beverages, live music and arts, set in the Sonoran Desert.
Devour Culinary Classic returns to the Desert Botanical Garden on Saturday and Sunday, February 27-28, 2027. It's a two-day showcase of Arizona's food scene, bringing together chefs, winemakers, brewers, food producers, and artisans across the Sonoran Desert. The festival is presented by Sprouts Farmers Market and produced with the Desert Botanical Garden and Art State Arizona.
Devour has been around since 2008, when Local First Arizona teamed up with a group of Arizona chefs. What started as a small collaboration has grown into a broad look at the people shaping how the state eats. The festival focuses on Arizona's food culture, rooted in the region's history and heritage foods, and it's known for telling the state's story through what it puts on the plate—from ingredients influenced by the desert landscape to traditions passed down through generations. Over the years, it's picked up a few titles along the way: The New York Times named it Best Southwestern Culinary Festival, Phoenix Magazine called it Best Food Festival, azcentral.com gave it Best Food Event, and Phoenix New Times named it Best Culinary Festival.
