Stand-up show by alternative comedy pioneer David Cross, with special guest Shane Torres, at the Crescent Ballroom.
David Cross brings his Fake Joy show to Crescent Ballroom on Friday, February 19, 2027. He'll be joined by special guest Shane Torres, so you'll get two comics on the bill rather than just one.
If you're not already familiar, Cross is an alternative comedy pioneer and an Arrested Development star. An Atlanta native, he's known for absurdist, satirical humor that pushes boundaries with intelligent comedy that challenges conventions. His career has been defined by adoration from critics and disinterest from mainstream audiences: highly intelligent, brutally honest and often confrontational, he's followed in the path of Lenny Bruce and George Carlin, addressing the rot within large systems. He built a substantial cult following from Arrested Development (Fox, 2003-06) and Mr. Show with Bob and David (HBO, 1995-98).
