Dave & Buster's Boo Bash and Moonlight Mixer

Dave & Buster's is turning into a haunted arcade for Halloween on Saturday, October 31, with two separate events that trade a family morning for an adults-only night. The whole thing runs under the name Boo Bash and Moonlight Mixer, and it's split right down the middle: the Boo Bash takes the morning, and the Moonlight Mixer takes the evening.

The Boo Bash runs from 10 AM to 1 PM and is built for families. The morning centers on a hot pancake banquet, with a costume contest and a scavenger hunt to keep things moving. The Monster Mash soundtrack plays in the background while the arcade games are open, so it's a mix of eating, competing, and playing. If you've got kids, this is the one to hit.

Once the morning crowd clears, the venue resets for the Moonlight Mixer, which runs from 7 PM to 10 PM. This half is adults-only, and it swaps the pancakes for a savory banquet. It keeps the costume contest and the Monster Mash soundtrack, but adds bowling from 7 PM to 9 PM, so there's a bit more to do than just the games. It's the same spooky arcade vibe as the morning, just shifted for a crowd that doesn't have to worry about a bedtime.

Both sessions are at Dave & Buster's Phoenix - Scottsdale, 21001 N Tatum Blvd, Phoenix, AZ 85050. The Boo Bash is 10 AM to 1 PM; the Moonlight Mixer is 7 PM to 10 PM.
