Classic Albums Live recreates Fleetwood Mac's Rumours live on stage, note for note.
Classic Albums Live is bringing Fleetwood Mac's Rumours to the Musical Instrument Museum on Monday, November 9, 2026. It's a one-album show, and they're doing the whole thing from start to finish.
If you're not familiar with how they work, the premise is straightforward: they recreate the album live on stage, note for note. That means they aren't just playing a few hits from the record and filling the rest of the set with other songs; they're working through Rumours as it was recorded, with the same arrangements and the same sequence. It's a full run-through of the album, not a greatest hits set.
Rumours is one of those records that almost everyone knows, even if they've never owned it. It's the one with "Go Your Own Way," "Dreams," and "The Chain," and it's known as much for the internal drama that went into it as for the songs themselves. Hearing it played straight through, in order, lets you hear it the way it was meant to be listened toβas a complete piece of work rather than a collection of singles.
