A free, family-friendly outdoor festival celebrating local Arizona businesses, makers, artisans and entrepreneurs with food trucks, live music and community activities.
Local First brings back the Certified Local Fall Festival to Margaret T. Hance Park on Saturday, November 7, 2026. It's an outdoor gathering that's been running for 20 years, a day that introduces you to the state's businesses, makers, artisans and entrepreneurs. Over two decades, people have discovered new businesses, started new traditions and formed friendships, with families returning across generations.
The festival is part of the 'Localist' movement, a lifestyle of exploring Arizona's local business community supported by the Localist app. The day is built as a massive, free, family- and dog-friendly outdoor gathering that brings together local Arizona businesses, entrepreneurs and creators from across the valley. You'll find more than 50 local restaurants, food trucks and chefs alongside Arizona breweries, wineries and distilleries, and hundreds of local businesses. There's live music throughout the day, and a Localist Activity Zone with musical chairs, crafts and a community mural.

It's a big, open-air event in downtown Phoenix, so it's easy to bring the kids and the dog along. If you're coming from across town, Valley Metro Rail runs to Roosevelt/Central Avenue Station, which is a short walk north to the park. The festival runs from 10 AM to 4 PM at Margaret T. Hance Park, 1202 N 3rd Street, Phoenix, AZ 85004, and admission is free.
