Cataleya's One-Year Anniversary Concert & Celebration

Cataleya's Nail Salon & Boutique is celebrating its first anniversary on Saturday, Oct 17, with a street festival that takes over the block in Downtown Phoenix. The salon is located at 301 W Roosevelt St Suite 113, in the ground-floor retail space of ECO PHX, and the party runs from 12 PM to 8 PM.

It's a big day for the business: one year since Cataleya's opened its doors. It's a locally and Latina-owned spot that pairs luxury nail services with a boutique dedicated to showcasing and supporting local small businesses. The owners describe the salon as sitting at the intersection of culture, community and entrepreneurship in the heart of Downtown Phoenix, and this celebration is built around that.

The street festival is the main event. It's a community-wide affair with live music, local vendors, food, and family activities. One of the more specific additions is a women-owned car show, which runs alongside the music and the booths. The whole thing is free and open to the public, so you can just walk up and hang out for the afternoon.

If you want to keep going after the street festival wraps, there's a ticketed after-party. Tickets for that are $60 per person through Eventbrite.
