Country music concert by Nashville artist Bobby Joe Bell and his full band at Foley Ranch in Phoenix.
Bobby Joe Bell plays Foley Ranch on Thursday, October 29, at 6 PM. He's a Nashville recording artist originally from Mesa, Arizona, so this is a local returning to the Valley. He'll be performing with his full band, and he describes his sound as new country—a mix of his own original songs and the country line-dance and party songs that get people moving.
If you've come across his music before, you've likely heard it on Spotify, iTunes, or YouTube. He's released the EP Kickin It Country Style and the 2023 project Line Dancing, and the set will draw from that material. He's known for his vocal ability, and the full band brings a bigger sound than a solo act, which fits the dance-heavy side of the set.
There's a personal side to his work that goes beyond the music. Bell is a strong advocate for people on the autism spectrum and for at-risk populations, and he founded the Raiseyourhandsinc.com Foundation. He draws on his own experience with autism through his 13-year-old daughter, and that connection carries over into his songs: a portion of the streaming revenue from "Line Dancing" goes to ASD and at-risk populations.
