Blind wine tasting with guests from the TV series 'Good Omens' at Valley Bar in Downtown Phoenix.
Valley Bar is hosting a Blind Wine Tasting on Wednesday, November 4, with two separate sessions to choose from: one at 6:30 PM and another at 8:00 PM. The whole thing is presented by friends from the TV series Good Omens, so if you're a fan of the show, there's a built-in reason to show up beyond the wine.
The format is straightforward. Four different wines are poured for you to taste, and you act as the judge for each one. The best part is that there are no wrong answers—you're just tasting and deciding what you think, not trying to pass some sommelier exam. It's more about the experience of comparing the pours than getting a label exactly right.
Because there are two time slots, you can pick the one that fits your evening better. If you're an early bird, the 6:30 PM session gets you in and out before the night really kicks off; if you'd rather head over after work and settle in, the 8:00 PM one works. Since they're back-to-back, it's also a good option if you're coming with a group and want to split up or double down.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Phoenix and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

Tickets are $20, and the tasting takes place at Valley Bar, 130 N Central Ave in Downtown Phoenix. Between the two session times and the $20 price, it's a pretty low-stakes way to spend a Wednesday night in the city.
