LA DIY band Automatic performs live at Valley Bar, with special guests Nuovo Testamento.
Automatic play Valley Bar on Thursday, October 22, as part of their North America Tour '26. They're an L.A. DIY band that's been around since 2017, and their sound puts synths, drums, and bass together with vocals. They've built a reputation for explosive live shows, and they've opened for Bauhaus.
Opening for them is Nuovo Testamento, an L.A. trio whose dark Italo-disco, synth-pop, and coldwave have made them favorites at goth nights. They've toured with Molchat Doma and The Soft Moon, and their work has been remixed by Drab Majesty, Curses, and Scowl. Both acts come from the same city, so the whole bill shares a certain West Coast synth-driven lineage.
